The CatFight Giving Challenge is going on right now. SBU is competing against Drury University to see which university can raise the most money for the Annual Scholarship Fund during a 13-day giving window. Your gift helps students like us and helps SBU beat Drury. And for the first time ever, your CatFight gift can help Leslie Hall win an awesome prize by competing in the Dorm Challenge!
Each dorm is competing to see who can have the most donors for the CatFight. Students, alumni, and anyone who wants to show their support for Leslie Hall should make their CatFight donation here!
If we have the most donors (based on the percentage of our goal we achieve), we win a $1,000 prize to be used for a special project for our dorm! Check out the bottom of this page to see what we will do with the prize.

What we will do with the prize:
We want to update our first floor lobby. This community space can feel a bit cold and gets quite loud when people gather for games, music, or yummy food. We would like to add an electric fireplace to create a homier environment. We would also love to put in carpet and add tapestries to the walls to cut down on that massive echo. Because we recognize that coffee brings people together and powers us through the day, we would also like to create a coffee bar available to residents. Finally, Leslie Hall only has one TV, which is the only cable access for students. We want to add a TV to our renovated lounge so students can enjoy movies, sports, and more with one another.
Did you know the first floor lobby is the only place that still has everyone's favorite "Leslie Wall?" We want to decorate that classic, decorative wall with some lights and celebrate our rich heritage as the final piece of our renovation!
