SBU Athletics Campaign

Thanks for considering a gift to support your SBU Bearcats!

SBU Athletics Campaign

With your financial assistance, we can take SBU Bearcats Athletics to greater heights. SBU is raising $100,000 to establish the SBU Athletics Endowment and raising $100,000 for new scoreboards for football, baseball, and softball. The collective goal of this campaign is to raise $200,000.

SBU Athletics Endowment

The SBU Athletics Endowment is an endowed fund that provides Bearcats Athletics with a perpetual source of income for facilities improvements for all sports. One of the goals of this campaign is to raise $100,000 to establish the SBU Athletics Endowment. Utilization of the funding will be determined annually by a committee comprised of the Athletic Director, Senior Women's Administrator, and the Vice President of University Relations.

Through future donations and earned investment income, this endowed fund will continue to grow even after this campaign is completed. Your gift today makes an impact for years to come.

Scoreboards

Technology upgrades to Plaster Stadium (Football), Dodson Field (Baseball), and the softball field will kick off this project to fund long-term improvements to SBU's athletics facilities. New digital scoreboards will enhance the student-athlete and fan experiences. By raising $100,000 for these new scoreboards, the game experience will be enhanced in several ways:

  • High-Quality LED Screens
  • Live Video
  • Player Introductions
  • Animations
  • Advertising Opportunities
